Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 announced: the Note goes full size

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a stylus-enabled 10.1″ tablet. The phone has much of the same rock solid hardware as the popular Galaxy Note, including a 1280 x 800 display (albeit at 10.1″ instead of the original Note’s 5.3″) and 1.4 GHz dual core Exynos processor. There’s up to 64 GB of internal storage aboard, as well as an above average front-facing camera at 2 MP. The tablet can connect to HSPA+ networks, as well as support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Of course, it’ll launch with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), with Samsung’s standard layer of TouchWiz additions as well as the S-Pen software first used in the 5.3″ Note. The tablet will also come with some new applications, including Photoshop Elements, which should work brilliantly with the stylus. Almost all of the reviews of the original Galaxy Note said “This is great, make a tablet with the S Pen stylus too!” Now it’s here, and should prove quite popular.

If you’re planning to pick one up when it comes out, then you might also want some Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 accessories. We’ll have a full range ready by launch, including Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 cases and screen protectors.

What do you think of the new slate – is the addition of an S Pen stylus something you’ve been waiting for on a full size tablet? Let us know in the comments, and feel free to share your questions too.
