Mobile Fun is expanding with the introduction of the wildly popular Skylanders franchise.
If you’ve never played before, here’s the skinny: Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure is a video game where you become a Portal Master, exploring the land of Skylanders with one of thirty-seven characters, battling creatures, collecting gold and treasure, and solving puzzles. Each character has different stats and abilities, lending each a different style of play.
Skylanders characters in the game are unlocked by connecting on of the Skylanders figures to your Portal of Power peripheral. You can also unlock more levels in the game by connecting through Skylanders adventure packs. You can play on your choice of consoles, including Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, 3DS and PC.
The fun gameplay and collecting mechanics made the franchise the holiday gift of the year, and even now it can be hard to find some characters in stores.
