It uses your original iPhone 4 microSIM, whilst the case houses a second SIM card which replicates the look and feel of your original iOS dialer, through a custom made app. This means, you can make calls and send messages on your second SIM, whilst incoming calls and messages come up as notifications, enabling you to accept or decline them.

One thing you don’t have to worry about with the Rebel 2Phone is it eating all your iPhone 4 battery, as the iPhone 4 cover comes with it’s own battery supply; which is rechargeable and also gives your iPhone 4 an emergency charge as long as it’s above 50% power.
The Rebel 2Phone contains all the relevant cut-outs to keep the phone’s functionality whilst it’s in the case; however the case does use the iPhone 4’s dock connector interface, but in return it features a micro USB port which replicates the functionality, so charging is still possible.
