Latest Mobile Phone Release Dates – April

2010 is flying past – we’re in April already and for most manufacturers it’s the start of a new financial year. That means we’re going to start seeing a lot of new phones get released now that budgets have been reset! Not much new has been announced yet, but I’ve just updated our release dates calendar to show the new handsets due out in the next 3 months.

Nokia

Nokia are still really quiet. In the coming weeks we’ve only got one or two handsets due – the C5 and the 7230, but if the rumour mill is anything to go by there are plenty of handsets on the horizon – including a new flagship handset – the Nokia N8.

Sony Ericsson

With the Vivaz storming up the charts, Sony Ericsson seem to be having a good time at the moment. Focus is now on their X series handsets which are all due to make an appearance over the coming weeks.

Samsung

Samsung are raising the bar again with the Samsung Wave – the first handset to feature the new Bada operating system and a super AMOLED screen, with another iPhone rival – the Galaxy S due around the same time.

HTC

HTC are having a great time at the moment. Having launched a number of fantastic handsets in 2009, they’re set for another great year if their latest handsets are anything to go by. The Legend is due any day now, with the HTC Desire and HD Mini not far behind.

Apple

The rumour mill is already in overdrive about the next generation of the most popular touch screen phone on the planet. iPhone operating system 4.0 is due to be revealed this week, which would suggest that an all new iPhone isn’t far behind..
