Shipping of dangerous goods

Lithium Battery Regulations44085

Regulations governing the shipment of lithium batteries are expected to change following the new regulations from the IATA administration.

Air carriers like UPS, DHL, Royal Mail and OCS declared that they will not ship any batteries as follows: lithium ion/polymer/metal/alloy batteries when not sent with, or connected to, an electronic device.

This regulation relates to rechargeable and non-rechargeable stand-alone lithium batteries that are classified as hazardous materials, usually found in cell phones and small electronic devices.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. We are seeking other options to efficiently ship batteries while remaining in compliance with the new regulations.

Please check back as we update the site with new information on battery shipments.
