“…somewhere along the way, the Note transformed from a curiosity into a premium device that can (and does) outshine the Galaxy S line on which it was based. This year’s attempt builds off what Samsung learned making the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, and you know what? The company wound up making its best phone yet in the process.”

“The Note 7 is Samsung’s best device ever, and arguably the best big phone ever made. If that’s all you’re looking to know, then you can stop reading right now and go place your order… If you haven’t yet been sold on why a phone with a big screen can change how you think about mobile computing, the Note 7 is the best pitch yet.”

“The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is a wonderful paradox. It’s svelte despite its huge 5.7-inch screen. A slew of futuristic features exist alongside an old-timey stylus. This is a “productivity phone,” but you can use it in the pool. It’s a niche device due to its price and size, but it can please anyone. It’s a jack of all trades, and the master of…everything.”

“The Galaxy Note 7 is a beautiful, capable Android phone that showcases Samsung’s best in design, battery life, speed and features. The 64GB base model leaves you plenty of space for photos, videos and games, and it’s a real improvement over 2015’s Note 5.”

“…it really is as good as it gets for now, but with so many fall launches coming up I find it very hard to whole-heartedly recommend this phone. The only audience I can really recommend this to are people that are absolutely set on a Samsung phablet, and even then if you won’t miss the S-Pen I think the S7 edge is pretty much the same experience for 100-200 USD less…”

“The Galaxy Note 7 takes Samsung’s best phone to date – the S7 Edge – and it stretches it with a 5.7-inch curved display and adds an S Pen stylus. It has the same top-of-the-line camera and specs, but it’s meant for big hands with equally big wallets.”

“The Note 7 is a great phone. It’s in keeping with Samsung’s winning 2016 formula: Do more—in more places—with bigger screens, better cameras and more storage. But if you don’t think you will use this stylus, don’t buy the Note 7. Save $100 or $200 and get the Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge instead.”

“Samsung is on a roll in 2016. Its Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are outselling the iPhone, and it’s not even done yet. The latest device to join Samsung’s galactic empire is the Note 7. With its signature S Pen stylus and a nifty new Edge panel, the Note 7 is the best of both worlds.”
