Official Galaxy Note 7 renders in multiple colours have appeared for the first time, weeks after some initial press shots were leaked by Evan Blass of Venture Beat and the phone itself was spotted in a screen protector fitting video that we published exclusively earlier this week.
Here are the renders!
The renders show the phone in Silver Titanium:
In Gold (a colour we haven’t seen in past leaks):
And Coral Bluee (which I reckon is probably what I’d go for):
There are no real details here that weren’t on previous leaks, although this is the first time we’re seeing the new S-Pen. The stylus looks quite similar to the past models, although hopefully it won’t be possible to trap it inside the slot if you accidentally insert it backwards this time.
Pre-orders for the Note 7 begin
In addition, the first Note 7 pre-orders have been opened by a technology shop in Dubai. Most other retailers (and customers) are likely to wait until the phone is officially unveiled on August 2nd. It’s suspected that Samsung will offer the phone on pre-order from the day it’s announced, although a one-week waiting period (like Apple) is also a possibility.
As a brief reminder, the phone is expected to include a 5.7-inch QHD curved edge screen, a Snapdragon 820 or 821 processor, 6GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and of course that handy S-Pen stylus. The biggest new feature is thought to be an iris scanner, allowing you to authenticate purchases and log into your phone just by looking at it… futuristic!
