Ted Baker is renowned as a fashion brand, but now they’ve bought their unique styling to an uncompromising range of audio products. Combining a sharp fusion of innovative design and precision engineering to create a rich, almost sinful sound that will change the way you listen to audio forever.

We can confirm, these Ted Baker headphones sound as good as they look.

Ted Baker offers both on-ear headphones, in the form of their Rockall model, and in-ear headphones, in the form of their Dover model. Both models have been manufactured by the brand themselves from scratch, a gamble which has resulted in Ted Baker becoming a notable contender in the Audio market.

So without further ado, lets have a look at these headphones in more detail…

Their style

These headphones offer a timeless style, and unlike competitors such as Beats, are designed to suit a wide range of age groups – so if you’re not in your teens, don’t worry you can still get away with wearing a pair of these.

Their design follows the traditions of on-ear headphones, with padded ear cups, a sturdy headband and a flat cable. But it’s the little design embellishments that really set these Ted Baker headphones apart.

The ear cups are precision crafted from stainless steel, offering a smooth shiny finish, with the Ted Baker logo engraved on them, in a subtle but identifiable manner.

The headband is a padded soft faux leather and bordered with neat cotton stitching, making it comfortable as well as fashionable. The inclusion of the knurled brass knobs are a particularly nice accent, they add character to the headphones in an understated way, and make the Rockall feel like they’ve got a slight 1930’s aviator feel to them.

Their sound and specs

But looks aren’t the most important thing with headphones, and when you get down to the nitty gritty of it the Rockall still manages to stand strong. They sound very good.

The listening experience and sound produced is clean and even, with the bass balanced rather than overwhelming.

The closed cup design of the ear cups reduces outside noise and prevents your audio sound leaking out to those around you – making them perfect for working in the office or travelling on public transport.

The flat cable helps to reduce tangles and also offers an iPhone compatible remote control (reflecting the fact that they’re MFi Certified).

Being pretty lightweight, they’re also comfortable to wear for long periods.

Their reviews

Overall, the reviews have been good. Pocket-lint and T3 both scored the Rockall Ted Baker headphones 4 out of 5, and Mobile Fun customers rated them a very impressive 5 out of 5.rockall-reviews

The Dover headphones team gold plated fittings with a black matte cable and buds, to provide a look that stands out from the crowd and reflects their high quality.

Their minimalist design and accompanying travel bag also ensure that these headphones are easy to carry, wherever you go.

Their sound and specs

Don’t be put off by their designer tag, these Ted Baker headphones are performance driven and can rival those of any of the big Audio manufacturers right now.

They feature high quality cabling ensuring that all the clarity and power of the audio signals travelling through deliver a rich, encompassing sound. A sound that is further enhanced by the Advanced Driver Technologies’ bass enhancement feature, which is designed to provide a powerful bass, punchy mids and clear highs.

Their high dynamic frequency range, closed-back design and snugly fitting buds, also work to isolate your audio and block any outside noise.
