Samsung is one of the last major handset manufacturers to give any concrete indication of their Marshmallow update schedule and although they have not officially announced any timescale, a leaked version of the schedule has now hit the net.

According to the leaked roadmap,  devices will begin receiving the software update as early as December this year, starting with the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+, Samsung’s flagship products. These will be shortly followed by the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, Note 4 and Note Edge. Many other current Samsung models are awaiting approval, at which point they will also receive an ETA for receiving the update.

The leaked roadmap also notes that there will be a 3rd phase to be commenced after the initial testing, so if your Samsung device isn’t on the list, don’t worry, you may still have a chance.
