The Nokia Lumia 925 is finally available in the UK, but its slimmer shape has meant that one of the standout features of the Lumia 920 – wireless charging – hasn’t been included. Thankfully, you can add that functionality back in if you want it, and even protect your phone while doing so.
It’s all down the Nokia Original Lumia 925 Wireless Charging Shell, which replaces your rear Lumia 925 cover for a more feature-filled version. The Wireless Charging Shell is reinforced against impacts and will ensure that your phone remains scratch-free for longer. Of course, it includes cutouts around the camera and flash to ensure that no functionality is lost while the shell is worn. If you want to add wireless charging to the Nokia Lumia 925, this is definitely the way to do it!
The Shell is available in three colours – take a closer look and find more information via the links below:
- Nokia Original Lumia 925 Wireless Charging Shell – White
- Nokia Original Lumia 925 Wireless Charging Shell – Black
- Nokia Original Lumia 925 Wireless Charging Shell – Red
Of course, to make use of these covers you’ll need a wireless charger. There are plenty of options available here, thankfully, as Nokia use the Qi standard.
We have three universal / unbranded options available:
- Qi Universal Wireless Charging Plate
- Qi Wireless Charging Pad and Stand
- Zens Qi Wireless Charging Pad
If you’d prefer something made by Nokia themselves, you can pick up one of these:
- a Nokia Lumia Wireless Charging Plate
- the Fatboy Pillow
- a Nokia Wireless Charging NFC Car Holder
- even a Nokia JBL Speaker.
And of course, you could even pick up the Galaxy S4 Wireless Charging Pad we featured in a blog earlier today.
Once you’ve got both pieces, just replace the rear cover with the shell, plug the pad into a power source and bring pad and cover together to start wireless charging. From then on, it’s a simple as placing the phone on your pad to charge, no wires necessary.
