Wait! You CAN use an old MHL adapter with the Galaxy S3

Last week Clove reported that old MHL adapters won’t work with the Samsung Galaxy S3, simply because the connector pins on the S3 are slightly different – meaning the MHL adapter won’t fit.

However, before you start throwing your old MHL adapters away, we have a solution which is cheaper than buying a new Galaxy S3 HDMI lead – the Samsung Galaxy S3 HDTV Adapter Tip.

At less than £10, the HDTV Adapter is a bit of a bargain and means you can recycle your old lead.  It’s really easy to use too – just clip it on to your existing MHL lead and you can plug it straight into your S3.

This means you can now start streaming media through your HDMI port no problems and you haven’t had to throw your old lead away.
