This article series looks at the upcoming releases from top smartphone manufacturers, almost all of which are looking like they’ll be released over the next two or three months.
It’s an exciting time to be buying a smartphone, with cool phones like the iPhone 5, the HTC Vigor and the Galaxy Note coming out. Many of these new phones are sporting much wider displays, some of which are capable of 720p, and CPU power is also vastly increasing.
Today, we’ll be looking at HTC’s upcoming releases: the Sensation XE, Titan and Vigor.
HTC Sensation XE
The Sensation XE is a souped up version of the brilliant Sensation, offering custom Beats audio tech, the fastest processor available and a bigger battery. We’ll be stocking the unlocked HTC Sensation XE from October 7th, so you won’t have to wait too long if you want to get your hands on one!

We’re sure this one’s coming out on time and with the stated features, barring any major disaster.
Accessories:
The Sensation XE accessories are largely the same as normal Sensation accessories, as the phone has no physical changes beyond the design. This means we’ve already got a large stock of HTC Sensation XE cases, Sensation XE chargers and Sensation XE car holders. Look for more posts on this subject closer to release!
HTC Titan
The HTC Titan is the largest Windows Phone announced, with a massive 4.7″ wonder that reportedly looks excellent. The phone comes with the latest version of Windows Phone, Mango. The phone’s internals are impressive too, with the sim free HTC Titan looking like the best Windows Phone coming!

HTC Vigor / HTC Droid Incredible HD / HTC Thunderbolt 2
This is one phone I’ve got my eye on, as it’s strapped to the gills with the very best of mobile phone technology: A massively dense 720p screen (better than the iPhone 4, even!), a fast dual core processor and the same audio tech as the HTC Sensation XE.

There’s a bit of confusion around the naming of the Vigor, but thanks to a leaked supplier screenshot, it does look it’ll eventually launch as the Droid Incredible HD on the 13th of October, at least in the US. No word on when or if it’s coming to Europe.
