The biggest and best Windows 7 phone yet will soon be coming to Mobile Fun. The Sim Free HTC Titan is a mammoth of a phone, with an incredibly expansive 4.7″ SLCD display on a surprisingly svelte 9.9mm thin frame.
It’s more than just a pretty face however; the Titan is armed with the latest version of the Windows Phone 7 operating system (Mango) as well as a quick 1.5GHz processor. With this combination of a massive screen, mighty processor and the full multitasking offered by Windows Phone 7, the HTC Titan Sim Free looks ready to handle anything from office apps to games with aplomb.
The camera on the HTC Titan unlocked is also one of the best available, a full 8 megapixels with a 28mm wide angle lens, dual LED flash and a BSI sensor. You won’t be carrying around a separate point-and-shoot with this in your pocket!
Engadget recently got their hands on the HTC Titan (and its little brother the Radar, which we’re stocking too) and they’ve had some nice things to say about it. The first is that 4.7″ doesn’t feel too big for a smartphone, thanks to the crisply designed curves and black metal unibody design.. They also point out that the screen space is well suited to Windows Phone 7, with the operating system’s minimalist design putting it to efficient use without it feeling overcrowded.
I can’t wait to get one in the office to have a play around with it; this looks like it’ll be the flagship Windows 7 Mango phone when it’s released. We don’t have a precise date on that yet, but we’re hearing that it should be next month – October 2011. We do have a price though – the HTC Titan will be available for just £509.95.
We’ve also got our usual selection of HTC Titan accessories, including essential HTC Titan cases and covers, and properly large HTC Titan screen protectors to keep that massive screen looking lovely. We’ve also got quite a few handy extras like spare HTC Titan chargers and Titan Desk stands, so as always you’ll be well covered.
