?If you’ve been following HTC’s handsets recently, you’ll have seen that a fair few of them now have a kickstand built into the battery cover – a compact metal strip that makes watching videos on your phone so much easier and that folds away into the body of the phone when not in use.
For some strange reason though, HTC have decided that with their latest flagship model, the HTC Desire HD, they would leave the nifty little kickstand out.
Presumably this hasn’t gone down too well with Desire HD fans as HTC have just released the HTC Desire HD Hard Case with Kickstand.
It does essentially the same job as the stand found on handsets like the HTC HD7 and the HD2 with extended battery, but is attached to a seperate cover. While this may seem like a bad thing, it isn’t. It means that the back of your Desire HD is safely hidden away and protected against knocks and scratches, and as it’s removable you can take it off when you need to slim your phone down a bit. It doesn’t protect the screen though, so you’ll probably want to invest in a HTC Desire HD Screen Protector too.
The HTC Desire HD Hard Case with Kickstand is available to order now with stock due back into our warehouse in the next couple of weeks.
