A few weeks ago we launched our X-Factor style competition that gave you the chance to vote for and win the phone that you think has the X-Factor. The votes have been pouring in and we’ve already said goodbye to 9 of the biggest handsets of 2010.
With just 5 weeks to go until we crown the winner, I thought I’d post a quick update and run through the 6 remaining handsets.
So, in no particular order, here are the handsets that are up for elimination this week!
The original HTC Desire is still getting plenty of votes, despite it being one of the oldest handsets left in the competition. It’s a powerful phone and is without doubt the most popular Android handset of 2010.
The HTC Desire HD is an upgraded version of the original HTC Desire. It has a massive 4.3 inch screen, more internal memory and an upgraded camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S is another powerful Android phone. It’s closely matched in spec to the original HTC Desire but has a better, larger screen 8GB of internal memory and much better battery life.
The BlackBerry Torch is the first sliding BlackBerry phone and it combines a touch screen with a full qwerty keyboard for faster typing. It runs the latest version of the BlackBerry OS and has a standard capacitive touch screen, rather than the unusual ‘surepress’ screen that was found on the BlackBerry Storm and Storm 2.
Nokia are hoping the N8 will turn things around for them and keep them in the number one spot. The N8 uses an updated menu system, has 16gb of internal memory and a 12mp camera that’s capable of recording HD video.

Apple iPhone 4
Despite all it’s problems, Apple’s iPhone 4 has been one of the best selling phones of the year. It’s easy to use menu system and ever expanding App store make it one of the most desirable phones around.
If you want to be in with a chance of winning one of these handsets, simply head over to our Love Your Mobile page on Facebook, ‘Like’ the page and then head to the Polls page to cast your vote. Remember to spread the word and tell all your friends and family so that they can be in with a chance to win too!
