So they can say with some confidence that Samsung have done remarkably well at Christmas in 2009, and can demonstrate it as customers have bought a Samsung Tocco Lite case or a Samsung Genio case the most often. Coming at third is the Samsung s3650 case which, has the same model number as the Genio, and reinforces the position of the Genio in the sales charts.
A feature of the Samsung Genio phone is the ease that you can change its looks with a cheap cover which makes it all the odder that people are searching for a Samsung Genio case but are actually buying a silicone cover.
Where are the other brands? They stock all of them, including Nokia accessories, iPhone accessories etc. but it is the budget Samsung Tocco Lite accessories that people in the UK are really looking for and not Nokia cases as previous Christmases would suggest. Is this a trend towards the Korean manufacturer or just a blip? MobileFun don’t care as they carry all the brands but it is interesting nonetheless.
As the UKs largest stockist of iPhone accessories they expect to sell a lot of those but the Samsung range, especially the Tocco Lite case has really taken them by surprise, in a nice way of course.
