The X-Factor is back and to celebrate being one of the X-Factor suppliers we’re giving away a brand new, unlocked mobile phone worth up to £499!

In true X-Factor style, the winning handset will be chosen by you, the public, through the Love Your Mobile page on Facebook.

We’ve selected 12 of the most popular handsets on the market to enter our very own version of the X-Factor. Each week you’ll be able to vote for the phone that you think has the X-Factor and on the Monday after the live shows we’ll count up the votes and the phone that has the lowest vote leaves the competition for good!

There will be a few twists along the way, including a few chances to win an instant prize!

The Finalists:

Our panel of judges have been deliberating for weeks over this years contestants. We’ve made each handset audition in front of a live crowd and then put each one to the test at Boot Camp. It’s been a tough decision, there have been tears and disagreements, but here is the final line up for the Mobile Fun X-Factor style giveaway!

Nokia:

We’ve got two entries from Nokia, the all new N8 and the powerful N900. Both are powerful smart phones, but do either of them have the X-Factor?

BlackBerry:

BlackBerry also have two phones in the running – the Touchscreen Storm 2 and the brand new BlackBerry Torch. Will the touchscreen, the qwerty keyboard and BlackBerry messaging prove to be a winning combination? Time will tell.

Samsung:

Samsung are producing some real winners lately, but do either of these two have what it takes to win? The Samsung Galaxy S is going head to head with the Samsung Wave, but who will come out on top?

Sony Ericsson:

Only one phone from Sony Ericsson, but it’s a monster. It’s got X in it’s name, but has the X10 got the X-Factor?

HTC:

They’re fast becoming one of the most popular manufacturers out there, are they special enough to be crowned the winner? It’s Android Vs Windows Mobile 6.5 as the Desire and Legend take on the HD2.

Motorola:

They’ve been off the boil for a while, but Motorola have come back fighting with the XT720 – otherwise known as the MotoRoi. Could it be the dark horse of the competition?

Apple:

Last but not least it’s Apple’s iPhone 4, a favourite with the Apple Fan Boys, but has it got enough of a following to win? You decide.

How to Win:

To take part, you simply need to ‘Like’ the Love Your Mobile page on Facebook and keep voting for your favourite to keep it in the competition. The first round of voting is now open and will close on Monday 11th October when we say goodbye to the least popular phone.

Voting will then take place each week, with at least one handset being voted out. Once a winning handset has been determined using the Poll on facebook, a winner will be drawn at random from the current fans of the facebook page.
