My new case only arrived today. It's very smart and I like it. Fits the phone beautifully. Only think I think that would make it perfect would be a magnetic close

It would have been useful to have known whether it had magnets in it to keep the flap closed - it doesn't and that is good because I cannot see that magnets and phones should be that close together - certainly the compass on my S8 was totally erratic - whether that was caused by the magnets in my old case I am not sure but I did not want to take the chance this time. This is quality leather and feels nice and firm and will give pretty good protection from edge or flat falls. Despite not having any form of clasp it more or less stays closed and it would be an unlucky fall for it to manage to open and fall flat on the screen. Anyway - I try not to drop it!
