This device plugs into the cigarette lighter socket in a vehicle, converting it from being a useless thing (unless you smoke) to a useful thing. Now, vehicle drivers have the power (literally) to charge up their essential devices almost for free - well, they're paying for the fuel, but they were travelling anyway. It allows up to 3 devices to be charged at the same time, because there are 3 sockets (the maths works out, I've checked). What I do like is that it sits flush, so when 'that kid' decides to climb over the centre console, they have to try harder to snap it off.

When 3 devices are ratings on device connected the voltage drops below the threshold for two of the devices. They show not charging so could not charge more than one iPad & one phone. This chinese device was arbitrarily substituted for a Oxilar {UK manufactured} device that I knew works very well.
