Had the FreeRunner for a few weeks now and in short, its excellent. Given how thin the iPhone 5 is, protective cases will add some bulk but this one is the same thickness as an iPhone 3GS without a case. The PC frame will disperse impacts around the case and the TPV rubber will dissipate the rest of the shock, with the PC front and TPV edges giving excellent front protection. Being picky, there is marginal reduction in screen sensitivity due to the PC cover, more mis-spelt words, having to press 'buttons' a fraction more postivively, although this isnt significant and a worthwhile sacrifice given the peace of mind of its extra protection. Fitting the port covers flush is a little tricky and its hard to assess the longevity of the charge port cover, gievn this is opened 3-4 times a week (although if this wore at the hinge, it would fit snuggly if cut off - as the BONDS case has it as a seperate piece). The camera hole cut-out fits snuggly to the phone, the matte screen protector looks odd if you're used to a crystal clear one but is highly neccessary to avoid 'bubbles' where the screen protector wouldn't touch all of the screen and unnoticeable when the PC cover is on. Sound quality isn't impeeded despite the thick rubber casing round the speakers/mic either. My PC cover didnt quite fully clip round to the back of the phone at the top but I'm talking only by a hairs thickness or so and it still held to the phone before applying the rest of the casing. Pros are significant, cons are marginal.
