I liked the simpler holder with just the spring as it adapts more easily with phones cases. The suction cup for windshield is very strong. I hope it holds up in the summer. I love the strong arm with needed flexibility. The dashboard attachment adhesive could be stronger with the adhesive. Overall one of the best phone holders I have used in the past 5 years!

As the boat is made from steel, this severely reduces the mobile phone signal, and sometimes when moored in weak mobile reception areas the only way to get a signal inside the boat is to hold the phone by a window.
