A very good screen protector
304699I was looking for a decent screen protector for a Galaxy S22, that has a nice, smooth, easy-to-use surface (I have had another brand of protector in the past that had a kind of rough/tacky feeling to it when swiping, despite being perfectly clean), and which has just enough space around the edges to allow the use of a wrap-around leather case without the case interfering with the edges of the protector and causing it to lift off over time. This Olixar protector fits the bill nicely. Like all screen protectors, fitting it can be a tense moment as you aim to position it accurately first time while working quickly enough to avoid any minute specks of dust or hairs being drawn in. The online installation video just instructs you to lower it down onto the phone without using any guides or stickers, so precision is required. Some sticky papers are supplied to remove any dust that might settle, and I did find these useful. With care, I installed two of these perfectly in around 20 minutes. Being glass, any bubbles that do appear underneath it are easily rubbed out, and if any dust has got in after you've lowered it onto the phone, it can be easily lifted and the sticky papers used to recover any specks or hairs before lowering the protector down again onto the phone. Time will tell of its durability, but again, being glass, I suspect it will do what it's intended to very well, and of course it feels very natural.
