Doesn't charge my Samsung A51 phone

I received a new Samsung A51 phone for my recent birthday and ordered this wireless charging stand but coukdn't get it to work so asked my genius I T son in kaw and he couldn't either because Samsung A51 phone can't be charged wireless......so will be gifted asap to family to use. Disappointed I csn't use it myself.
