I’ve had a few car phone holders in the past some that attached to the car window & some that go into the car heaters vents & some that sticks to the dashboard & between them all have broken or the sticky bits have marked the dashboard. The mat is of good size to be able to hold phone, keys, and a small amount of change. I would suggest that it comes with a 3M sticky adhesive so that it can be fixed to the dashboard, as the mat moves all the way along the dashboard, sometimes as far as the passenger side if the dashboard, when driving and making a left or right turn.
