Important to have a wireless charging compatible case; I bought one locally that stopped it charging, then got another from Mobile Fun specifically badged as compatible; it looks and feels just the same but allows charging with no problem. You have to use a case to hold the adapter in place.

I won't say this is THE magic bullet, because charging seems to be a slow process, but it is handy to have this little gadget to allow for wireless charging. I have an iphone 7 and needed a wireless charger and hoped this would do the trick. It seems to take a little longer to charger than using a cord plugged to outlet, but it still charges. I do remove my otter box protective case so this adapter can sit directly behind the back of my phone so there's no interference in the charge. I would recommend it, and it came a day before Christmas which was perfect as i gave one to my dad in his stocking and he loved it.

Works quite well although you need to unplug it to use a cable charger. I'm not sure if that would be possible to achieve but would be nice. Apart from that it's a nice compromise. Would buy one again.
