A positively HUGE mouse-mat!

Perhaps the biggest mouse-mat I've yet acquired!
I've tried all sorts - from glass right through to leatherette, and this one is positively vast when laid out on the desk.
The surface of the mat is not that smooth (being more akin to fine-grained leather than anything else I can think of). It's not quite so smooth for scrolling on as my "Map of the World" fabric mat, but at least it doesn't suffer from the edge unraveling when the binding wears! There's not that much 'give' under pressure, and the material is about 2mm thick.

Through no fault of yours I didn't receive my first order and you were very quick to rectify and send me another. Subsequently bought came at the same time. Bleam An Post, if you wish I'll pay for the extra one.

I do a lot of photo and video editing using a laptop and an external monitor. This mat replaces a smaller one, and is a good size for me, because it will accommodate the laptop and monitor while still leaving a good area for the mouse to move in. It is thin, but seems durable, and is quite inconspicuous on my desk, which has a dark brown leather top.

It's very much what it appears to be—a black faux-leather rectangle which protects the desk, marks out one's workspace, and provides a great contrasty background for taking photos of paperwork, for the archive! There's also a strap to enable it to be kept rolled up when not in use, if needed.
My only gripe is that it says 'leather' in the advert, rather than 'faux leather' (I didn't want leather, & assued it wasn't at the price, but it could easily be misconstrued).

Great desktop Matt. It’s obviously not real leather but it’s kinda hard to tell. Easy cleaned, which is basically the reason we got it in the first place. An added bonus is it does feel great to use, laser mouse glides with no effort on this.

It's a little bit too sticky for my liking, had hoped for my mouse to move a little better on the surface. Feels like I'm having to push it more than I should. Overall a little disappointed. Am using a Roccat Kain 100 mouse. Don't get me wrong, it looks nice, and is easy to clean, it's just the functionality is not quite what I had hoped for.
