Chunky, cheap & cheerful. I have bought a succession of these for different phones. You don't think that they can be much good but they actually protect really well (and I drop my phone a lot!) The stand on the back is surprisingly useful as well.

This case is perfect for me. It provides the grip I need to hang on to an otherwise very slippery phone plus it has a nice kickstand for watching movies and videos. I can't speak to how well it protects when you drop it as I'm not the type of person to ever drop my phone but it feels like it would be a good protector.
