I have a very weak signal, and the antenna placed in the window, after using the antenna signal became strong, and surf the Internet fast becoming as well as download.
I live most of the year on a caravan site so no telephone lines, i use a broadband dongle for internet access and put up with the signal dropping as this was my only choice but now i can even play online with my playstation 3 and play black ops, fifa and GT5 with no lag at all. Speed tests show 5 dowload and 1.9 upload chuffed with Outdoor Panel Antenna and so easy to set up. i would recomend to anyone. my set up is a vodafone sharing hub, broadband dongle and a fantastic antenna. Very happy, thanks MobileFun Warren
Before having this antenna, I was seldom able to get a signal at all at this location. Since i've been using this antenna, I have had a permanent signal. A miracle.
Impressive Signal Strength Gain
Based in Weak signal area in West Cork. Got the antenna and after a few attempts at pointing it towards the nearest Transmitter I got a significant signal increase from One bar to three. Does the job for me. With O2 using Huawei E122 3G Stick ( with Zoom 3G Wireless-N Desktop Router )
This has raised my signal strength from 19% to 39% but most importantly it has eliminated signal drop outs. I was on the verge of giving up on mobile broadband but not any more. I would recommend this product to anyone who is struggling with coverage.
Outdoor Panel Antenna - Signal Strength Gain
The situation here is that I am well pleased with the External Panel Antenna.
Whilst the crude measure of signal strength using the "bars" does not seem to have improved I do not lose the connection which was often the case without the antenna.
I have established that the area I live in does not have 3G, so for the time being I am stuck with GPRS. Without the antenna, speeds of less than 10Kbits/sec were the norm and above 20Kbits/sec warranted opening a bottle of wine. With the antenna, speeds of above 50Kbits/sec are the norm and the whole house shakes!!
I understand that the local GPRS infrastructure is to be upgraded to 3G within 6 months (this is Spain so I'm not certain which 6 months!)
So in summary, for GPRS reception inside a stone house the signal is now stable and reliable and GPRS speeds have been maximised.
Thanks again for your advice and very good service.
