Doesn't do what I expected

Bought this under the impression that I'd be able to use it with either my Huawei P20 android phone or my partner's Ipad Mini - works with the Ipad Mini no problem and I've already given that a quick charge but it doesn't fit my Huawei P20 so no use whatsoever for me personally....not impressed
