Brodit - Excellent! Highly recommend.
Brodit dash mounts have served me well for my last four phones and through three different cars! I've never had an issue with any part of the Brodit range nor with MobileFun's excellent service. The quality of build is strong and consistent, always holding the phone firmly in place. I was pleased to see the introduction of a straight cable and a USB connection. The straight cable makes it easier to hide or tuck away behind some of the car's trim making for a neat installation. I would have no hesitation in recommending their range of products. Another happy customer.
perfect for the job
Read other reviews but didn't find cradle a tight fit great piece of kit only one niggle the charging cable is straight thus can get in the way would be better being curly
Not cheap but worth it
I needed a car kit that would not cause damageto my car dashboard and be easy to install. This certainly fits the brief and sits well in my BMW X1 at an easy to reach position and clearly visible when driving for SatNav etc.
Only two small things are that the screws used to attach it to the Brodit clip are difficlult to put in and don't appear to grip that well on the plastic. I would guess that they will work loose wuite quickly. Therefore they would be better with small nuts and bolts which I may replace them with when needed. The second is your phone can not be in a case not even a gell to slide into the holder.
Well-made but tight fit
I've been using Brodit dashmounts for a number of years without any problems, and it looks like it'll be the same with this model. However, I should point out that it grips the SGN2 very tightly. Inserting it isn't too bad, but when it comes to removing it, it's very difficult as it's a very tight fit.

I might try to sand down the side grooves on the Brodit to make a little more clearance as I'm worried that its vice-like grip might compress the glass screen a bit too much. If it wasn't for its too-tight grip, I'd give it 5*.
