The Sony Ericsson X10 Mini<\/a> and X10 Mini Pro<\/a> are very similar looking phones. They’re both compact devices that run on the Android OS, but what sets the two apart is text entry. The X10 Mini relies on it’s touch screen for all text entry, where as the X10 Mini Pro has a slide out QWERTY keyboard.<\/p>\n

In terms of size the X10 Mini Pro is slightly bigger than the X10 Mini so most X10 Mini cases won’t work with it – They certainly don’t accommodate the keyboard either.<\/p>\n

If you’ve got an X10 Mini Pro, you’ll want to get a phone specific case to keep it protected, but with the phone being so small, finding one that fits well is a bit of a mission. I’ve been through 5 of our top selling X10 Mini Pro Cases to see how well they fit and protect your phone. Here’s how I got on.

<\/a><\/a>Noreve make really beautiful cases for phones and this is no different. The quality of the case is excellent. The Noreve case uses a rail system to keep your X10 Mini Pro in place instead of the usual stitched leather pocket. This allows the phone to be held securely even with the keyboard in the open position. The case doesn’t cover the front of the phone with strips of leather or restrict access to the screen and controls. The side rails are positioned so that they don\u2019t interfere with the slide mechanism, volume or camera keys and all the ports on the bottom of the phone are also left accessible. Cut outs on the back of the case mean that you can leave the phone in the case to take photos.<\/p>\n

This might mean that you’ll need to buy a new crystal case, but you won\u2019t need to buy a new phone.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Crystal Case is in two parts. One half covers the front frame and the other\u00a0covers all of the back of your phone. The keypad, screen and charging ports are all exposed and easy to access. As the screen isn’t covered, I’d recommend fitting an X10 Mini Pro Screen Protector.<\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t want the added bulk of a case, but still \u00a0want to protect your X10 Mini Pro then an InvisibleShield is a great option. It\u2019s a tough, thin plastic film that covers all of your phone. I\u2019ve been a fan of these for a while now as they do such a good job. Fitting them is a little time consuming, but the end result is well worth it. As they don\u2019t add a lot to the bulk of your handset, you can easily use them with most other cases and covers. ToughGuard Shields don\u2019t cover the screen, so we\u2019d recommend using an X10 Mini Pro Screen Protector\u00a0with it.<\/p>\n

The fit of the case is the same as the crystal case. It covers the frame around the screen and the back of the phone.<\/p>\n
