Clingo are a new range of holders that will work with just about any phone on the market. The idea behind them is really simple, but the technology behind it is quite clever.<\/p>\n

There are currently 6 different Clingo holders available that work with phones, MP3 players and other portable media players.<\/p>\n

Unlike most phone holders, Clingo aren’t built around specific models of phone, instead, they use a flat, non slip pad to keep your device firmly in place. When I say ‘non slip pad’, I don’t mean the sort that you can buy to stop your sunglasses sliding around in the car. This is a cleverly engineered pad that sticks to your devices holding them firmly in place. To secure your phone, you just press it firmly on the pad, to remove it, simply peel your phone off.<\/p>\n

The pad isn’t sticky to the touch and doesn’t leave any sticky mess on your phone either. It can be used thousands of times and if it starts to lose it’s grip, simply run it under a hot tap to reactivate the pad.<\/p>\n

Clingo Universal In Car Holder<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

The Clingo Car Holder is the most popular of all the holders. It’s designed to attach to your car windscreen using a suction pad and can be adjusted to almost any angle. The stick pad will hold any phone that has a predominantly flat back and once attached, it’s easy to rotate your phone through 360\u00b0 for use as sat nav.<\/p>\n

Clingo Universal Podium Phone And Media Desk Stand<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

The Podium provides the same functionality as the in car holder, but is designed to be used on your desk. The head of the podium rotates through 360\u00b0 \u00a0making it perfect for watching movies, browsing the internet or gaming. It’s designed to work with phones and MP3 players, but will happily accommodate larger devices, including the iPad.<\/p>\n

Clingo Universal Mobile Tether<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

I was a bit confused when I first saw this on our site as I couldn’t figure out what it was, but once you see it in action you’ll realise that it’s actually quite a handy tool to carry around with your laptop. It opens to become a double sided sticky pad. You stick one side to the edge of your laptop screen and place your phone on the other.<\/p>\n

As your phone is then right next to your laptop screen it makes checking for messages and setting up internet tethering much quicker as you don’t need to look away from your screen to view your phone. It’s also great for times when you’re working in a limited space (the train for example) as you can keep your phone accessible without it taking up valuable tray space.<\/p>\n

Clingo Parabolic Sound Sphere<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

I \u00a0was sceptical when I first saw the Sound Sphere, but was surprised to find that it does make quite a difference to the sound from your phone. Your phone attaches to the sticky pad in the centre of the sphere and you use the built in loudspeaker on your phone to playback your music or videos. The shape of the sphere then amplifies the sound and directs it towards you.<\/p>\n

The sound sphere has a small hole for you to pass your charging cable through so that you can keep your device charged at the same time. The sound sphere works best with phones and MP3 players that have the loud speakers on the ends or the rear of the device – front facing speakers will bypass the sound sphere and you won’t notice any difference.<\/p>\n

Love playing racing games on your phone or iPod touch? This game wheel adds a little reality to most racing simulation games in the same way as the steering wheels do for the Nintendo Wii. Simpy place your phone or iPod touch on the pad in the middle, launch your favourite game and away you go.<\/p>\n

Clingo Neklit for iPod Nano<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

This only works with the current 5th generation iPod Nano but it’s a great way to carry your iPod around with you while keeping it close to hand. It has a cut out on the back for the camera and can be removed from the neck strap quickly by sliding the holder off the mounting clip.<\/p>\n
