\"AllI’ve mentioned the iPhone Death Grip<\/a> a couple of times over the last few weeks, but it appears that more and more people are suffering with the so called ‘Death Grip’ with the new iPhone 4.<\/p>\n

Like most Apple fans, we were really excited about the launch of iPhone 4<\/a>, but after queuing for hours to get our hands on one, we were disappointed to find that there is a problem with signal reception when you hold the phone in a certain way.<\/p>\n

Apple have acknowledged that there is something wrong with the way that the phone displays signal strength on the screen and their advice is to hold the phone in a different way or use an iPhone 4 Case<\/a>. They’re promising a software update will fix this, but as yet there’s no sign of an update being made available.<\/p>\n

The problem occurs when your hand makes contact with the black band that joins the two antennas on the bottom left corner of the phone. By fitting a case to your phone it puts a barrier between your hand and the phone and significantly reduces any signal loss.<\/p>\n

Apple are being unusually slow at getting a fix in place for this and are leaving thousands of disappointed users with a phone that is sometimes unusable.
