During the recent Google Pixel I\/O developer conference, Google gave us a little preview on what we can expect from the upcoming Google Pixel 7. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Google Pixel 7 is next in line to release after Googles latest budget device the Google Pixel 6a. The Google Pixel 7 is confirmed to be released during the autumn of 2022, so around October we believe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, what can we expect from the Google Pixel 7 in October?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Price<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The price of the Google Pixel 7 has not been released yet and we dont expect Google to let us know the price any time soon. However, if we look at the price of the Google Pixel 6 which starts from $599 and the Google Pixel 6 Pro which starts at $899 and compare it to the Galaxy S22, which starts from the price of $799, the Google Pixel devices prices are pretty low. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We expect that Google may stay within a good price range for the Google Pixel 7, especially if they want to compete against the Samsung Galaxy S22. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Design<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the design of the Google Pixel 7 being shown during the I\/O event, we have an idea of what the Google Pixel 7 may look like. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Google Pixel 7 is not so different in design compared to the Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. The first difference that you’ll be able to spot is the change in the camera sensors design. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The camera housing strip design on the rear side of the device is still there, however instead of the camera lenses all joint together, there are only 2 joint together and one separate lens. This is quite different compared to the Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well known twitter user Onleaks claims that the screen size of the Google Pixel 7 and 7 pro will differ to the Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. The Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro have a display size of 6.4 inches, however the Google Pixel 7 may only have a display size of 6.2 inches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has been rumoured that the Google Pixel 7 may feature an under display selfie camera, which can also be found in the Samsung Galaxy Z fold 3, however Google plans to improve it by using a mirror system,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is only a speculation though, and nothing has been confirmed. Google has submitted a patent for this, but patents do take time to be accepted, so it seems this feature may be added to the next Google Pixel generations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other features<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Google is said to be working on a second-generation Tensor Chipset, which would mean improvements in AI and much more. It is likely that we may find the Exynos Model 5300 alongside the Tensor Chip. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
