It&#8217;s worth noting, for the AirTag to work on your iPhone or iPad, iOS 14.5 software is required.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve paired your AirTag with your iPhone or iPad, your iOS device will prompt you to name the tag to indicate what it&#8217;s being attached to. Once named, you&#8217;ll then be required to register the tag which includes asking for your details, which in the event of losing your item, if anyone does find your belongings they&#8217;ll know how to reach you.<\/p>\n<h2>What can an AirTag be used to track?<\/h2>\n<p>Apple has designed the AirTag to be water and dust-resistant so that they can be attached to various different everyday items including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Car or house keys<\/li>\n<li>Wallet or purse<\/li>\n<li>Bags and luggage<\/li>\n<li>laptops and tablets<\/li>\n<li>Glasses<\/li>\n<li>Bicycles<\/li>\n<li>Umbrellas<\/li>\n<li>AirPods<\/li>\n<li>Camera gear<\/li>\n<li>Headphones and earphones<\/li>\n<li>Pets<\/li>\n<li>TV remotes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The possibilities are endless, however, the AirTag alone is unable to attach to any items.
