Once you’re set up, just visit Settings > Display > Cast to mirror your screen, or press the Cast button Miracast is another option for many Android phones, allowing you to cast to the wide range of smart TVs that support the standard. However, it isn’t officially supported on the Moto G5S.<\/p>\n There are reports that you can enable it on the Moto G5S if your phone is rooted though; just add the lines below to your build.prop file using an app like Root Explorer and reboot your phone.<\/p>\n From there, connect to your TV using Wi-Fi Direct (Settings > WiFi > Advanced) then visit Settings > Display > Cast. Some Android phones can be connected directly to TVs using an HDMI adapter, often called a SlimPort or MHL adapter. Unfortunately, this was most popular a few years ago, and many Android phone makers have stopped including this functionality in their phones (although new phones with USB-C have benefited from widely available USB-C Display Adapters<\/a>).
