It even includes a Micro SD card slot, something its predecessor famously lacked. This is one of the most popular phones released this year, and it’s easy to see why.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0BlackBerry Leap<\/h3>\n

The BlackBerry Leap isn’t particularly well known, but it’s still a solid smartphone and one of the last to run BlackBerry OS. It has access to Amazon’s Android app store which helps you to find apps, and of course it includes BlackBerry Messenger built-in. If you’re missing the good old days of BlackBerry, this could be a nice choice.<\/p>\n

The Xperia X is the first phone to succeed Sony’s legendary Xperia Z series of phones. The X pulls off the role with aplomb, sporting a slick new design and an upgraded camera system. It’s also a nice choice for audiophiles, thanks to its support for High-Res Audio upscaling. It’s also not too big, with a convenient 5-inch screen.<\/p>\n

2. Samsung Galaxy S6<\/h3>\n

Being on the cutting edge means you get to experience the latest technology first, but you certainly pay for the privilege. This Galaxy S6 was the hottest phone of last year, and now you can pick it up for 25% off — not bad! It still rocks a respectable camera, fast internals and a recent version of Android, which has allowed it to age more gracefully than some of its competitors.<\/p>\n

The HTC 10 is a forgotten gem, a phone that was lost amidst the Galaxy S7, LG G5 and new iPhones. That’s a shame, because it’s the best phone HTC have made in years. It has a beautiful design, capable camera front and back, 24-bit hi-res audio support and excellent battery life. It also sports USB-C, allowing for fast and convenient charging. Of all the phones on this list, the HTC 10 would be my choice for a new phone.<\/p>\n
