After several reports of fires with supposedly safe replacement Note 7 models, Samsung has issued a worldwide recall of all Note 7 models and will stop selling or producing the phone.<\/p>\n<p>If you have a Note 7, you should immediately stop using it, turn it off and return it to your retailer for a refund or replacement with a different model.\u00a0You can contact Samsung&#8217;s customer\u00a0service team on 0330 7261000, or contact your mobile carrier or retailer for instructions.<\/p>\n<p>If you like the Note 7, then the Galaxy S7 Edge might be a good replacement, but there are tons of other great phones on the market from a range of manufacturers including the iPhone 7 \/ 7S, OnePlus 3 and Google Pixel \/ Pixel XL.<\/p>\n<h3>Oculus disables Gear VR for Note 7 owners<\/h3>\n<p>Oculus has also gotten into the game, updating the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilefun.co.uk\/official-samsung-galaxy-gear-vr-headset-for-usb-c-micro-usb-60571\">Gear VR<\/a> software to prevent its use with the Note 7. Here&#8217;s the message that displays if a Note 7 is used:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Customer safety is Oculus&#8217; top priority. Oculus is removing support for all Note 7 devices on the Oculus platform. Until further notice, Note7 devices will not be compatible with the Gear VR. For more information regarding the Note 7, please contact Samsung directly.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The headset should work with future USB-C Galaxy phones, and\u00a0can still be used with earlier Galaxy models as well (for the full list, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mobilefun.co.uk\/official-samsung-galaxy-gear-vr-headset-for-usb-c-micro-usb-60571#\">click here<\/a>).<\/p>\n<h3>Wrapping up<\/h3>\n<p>Please do return your Note 7 models, and don&#8217;t risk your safety by continuing to use them.
