We’re happy to introduce our first new range of Olixar cases in some time — the X-Duo. These cases will make their debut with the Galaxy Note 7, and are scheduled to arrive in stock by the end of August, just before the launch of the Note 7 in the UK. Let’s take a closer look!<\/p>\n

These new X-Duo cases offer a protection upgrade compared to the lighter and cheaper FlexiShield. The case utilises a hybrid design, combining a hard metallic TPU\u00a0bumper with a flexible and shock-absorbent body. The added texture of the carbon fibre design makes the case harder to drop accidentally, while lips on the top and bottom ensure that the screen doesn’t feel the full impact of any falls. This design allows the Note 7 to be completely protected from common threats, when combined with the phone’s built-in IP68 water and dust resistance.<\/p>\n

Despite the protection provided, this is a fairly slim case that will still easily fit in your pocket — a blessing given the raw size of the Note 7, even without a case. The case includes cutouts wherever necessary and covers for the buttons, making the case a joy to use.<\/p>\n

The case’s carbon fibre design gives it a modern look, and there are three colour schemes available: gold, silver and grey. Each of these metallic shades combines well with the Note 7 colours on offer, so you’re free to choose any combination that you like.<\/p>\n
