Last week we revealed renders of new iPhone 7 cases<\/a> from accessory brand Olixar, which confirmed differences in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models including dual rear-facing cameras and a smart connector on the Plus variant. Today, we’ve actually received some iPhone 7 cases at Mobile Fun HQ! Let’s take a look.<\/p>\n

To highlight the key differences in the new device, we snapped the cases with an iPhone 6 inside. <\/em><\/p>\n

The first thing that jumps out is the placement of the rear camera slot. It’s slightly lower down than it was on the iPhone 6 and 6S, which should help minimise finger intrusion on your snaps.<\/p>\n

The shape of the buttons and ports along the side of the phone show no change with volume, ring\/silent rocker and power buttons all lining up with our iPhone 6 model.<\/p>\n

The real difference is found at the bottom edge of the phone, where a wider berth where the headphone jack and microphone previously sat on the iPhone 6 will likely allow for a second speaker grill, with Apple instead opting to use its Lightning port for headphones with the release of the iPhone 7.<\/p>\n
