If you want to listen to the music from your iPhone SE, it’s really easy to blast it out of you car’s stereo and speakers – which are much louder and higher quality than the iPhone’s SE’s tiny speaker.

It shouldn’t be too hard to, but there are loads of different types of cars and speaker systems out there. Here are our favourite methods in order of convenience:

1. Connect with Bluetooth

If you’ve bought a car in the last few years you’ll probably have a modern stereo system with built-in Bluetooth functionality. If this is the case, all you need to do is switch on your iPhone SE’s Bluetooth by swiping up from the bottom of the screen and selecting the Bluetooth button. From here it will depend on which stereo system you have in your car, but all of them will require you to put them in ‘pairing mode’ while it looks for you iPhone SE.

2. Use an FM transmitter

If you don’t have a Bluetooth-enabled car, don’t worry you don’t need to buy an entirely new stereo system – just an FM transmitter adapter. This clever little gadget makes use of your car’s ability to play music from the radio and uses a similar process but with your phone instead. The Olixar Smartune Bluetooth FM transmitter connects to your phone using a 3.5 audio cable or Bluetooth and then transmits the audio to a frequency of your choice. Then all you need to do is tune into that frequency as if it was your very own radio station.

3. Use a 3.5mm audio cable to an AUX audio input

Usually, car stereos include 3.5mm audio ports which make it very easy to connect the iPhone SE. Simply get a 3.5mm audio cable, then connect one end to your iPhone’s headphone jack, and the other to the 3.5mm AUX input on your stereo.

4. Use a tape deck adapter

Maybe your car doesn’t have any of things – in which case there is still hope if your car has a tape deck. Yes, that’s right if your car has a tape deck you can use a special cassette shaped adapter that plugs into your phone. It is basically tricking your car into thinking the music is being played from a cassette, but really it is on your phone!

Anything we missed?
Thanks for checking out the article.
