The Sony Xperia X Performance is a faster, modern update to the much-loved Xperia Z5. Today, we’re looking at the first official case for this phone: the Style Cover Touch Case.<\/p>\n

The Style Cover is a clever take on the classic flip cover, replacing the usual leather or leather-style cover with something altogether more contemporary: a slim, touch-sensitive and transparent cover. This synthetic creation still provides great protection against scratches and knocks, but also provides new functionality.<\/p>\n

You can see the screen through the phone, allowing you to see incoming calls, notifications and check the time. As you have a touch-sensitive panel, you can also use the phone through the cover. It won’t look quite as good as using the phone’s display bare, but it’s great for quickly checking something without needing to go through the hassle of uncovering and recovering.<\/p>\n

The case connects to the Xperia X Performance using NFC, allowing it to pair instantly as soon as the phone is inserted into the case. The case doesn’t ever require recharging, happily. It’s also made by Sony for its own phones, so you can be confident of a perfect fit.<\/p>\n
