Sadly dual-booting isn’t a possibility, as the two models have different keyboards and ports, but it’s still nice to have the option for a Windows alternative. The laptop is powerful enough, with a Core i5 processor, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of flash storage. They also come with new USB-C connectors, which we’ll see more of in the year ahead. The Chrome OS version will cost $399, while the Windows model is $449; they’ll debut in June and April, respectively.

Transforming ThinkPad X1 tablet

Next up is the ThinkPad X1 tablet. The tablet also comes with a keyboard, complete with TrackPoint and touchpad, a kickstand and an optional stylus. The system launches for $899 next month, with modules costing $149 or $279 depending on which you choose.

Refreshed ThinkPad X1 Carbon ultrabook

The X1 Carbon is in many ways Lenovo’s premier laptop, so I was looking forward to seeing what they’ve changed this year. The new X1 Carbon comes with sixth-generation Intel processors and a thinner, lighter body. The new Carbon weighs just over a kilogram, and measures 17mm thick. Inside, you’ll find up to a Core i7 CPU, backed with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The 14-inch display comes in 1080p and 1440p flavours. The Yoga debuts this month from $1449, including with a (rare) OLED 1440p screen for $200 extra.

ThinkCentre X1, a slim all-in-one

Lenovo are also making an all-in-one this year, the ThinkCentre X1. The ThinkVision X24 is a (nearly) borderless 24-inch 1080p IPS display, complete with USB-C which can be used to both connect to a laptop and charge that very same laptop.
