The Owl-shaped Ulo has a few nifty features to make you feel more connected to your home security, namely the ability to customise eye expressions for different moods and scenarios.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to blasting through its funding goals, the Ulo now films in full 1080p HD, is waterproof and even features facial recognition.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/vivienmuller\/ulo\">Find out more<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Figment VR<\/h2>\n<p><strong>In a nutshell&#8230;<\/strong> Virtual reality in your pocket.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"547\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/quantumbakery\/figment-vr-virtual-reality-in-your-pocket\/widget\/video.html\" width=\"730\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>With YouTube now supporting\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCzuqhhs6NWbgTzMuM09WKDQ\">360 Videos<\/a>\u00a0and Facebook <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Facebook360\/\">experimenting with it<\/a>, as well as the impending releases of\u00a0the Samsung Gear VR and Oculus Rift, there&#8217;s never been a better time to get involved with Virtual Reality. A great place to start would be the Figment VR which aims to be the\u00a0world\u2019s first virtual reality viewer built into a phone case. As well as making this super accessible is also allows for excellent portability so you can enjoy Virtual Reality experiences where ever you are.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/quantumbakery\/figment-vr-virtual-reality-in-your-pocket\">Find out more<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>HAIZE<\/h2>\n<p><strong>In a nutshell\u2026<\/strong>\u00a0minimalist urban bike navigation.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"547\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/onomo\/haize-a-compass-reinvented-navigation-for-urban-cy\/widget\/video.html\" width=\"730\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Navigating busy streets on your morning commute is hard enough and trying to follow directions can be even worse, especially if you can&#8217;t afford to take your eyes off the road.<\/p>\n<p>Now, this is where the HAIZE comes in &#8211; operating in a similar fashion to mini-maps in video games it features\u00a0a &#8216;magic compass&#8217; that points towards your destination leaving you free to make your own way to your destination. If however, you fancy a more sat nav-y approach, the HAIZE\u00a0also offers turn-by-turn navigation so you can follow a more specific route.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/onomo\/haize-a-compass-reinvented-navigation-for-urban-cy\">Find out more<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Make Time Clock<\/h2>\n<p><strong>In a nutshell&#8230;<\/strong> A minimalist &#8216;clock-in&#8217; timer<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"547\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/chapambrose\/make-time-clock-get-serious-about-side-projects\/widget\/video.html\" width=\"730\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Following a similar line of thinking to\u00a0the popular\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/pomodorotechnique.com\/\">Pomodoro<\/a>\u00a0technique, we have the Make Time Clock from Chap Ambrose. With a default session time of 30 minutes (although this can be customised in the accompanying app) the Make Time Clock sets you a sufficient time to get work done.<\/p>\n<p>LEDs on the front of the device light up to visualise\u00a0progress and the accompanying app tracks this allowing you to see both long and short-term progress.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/chapambrose\/make-time-clock-get-serious-about-side-projects\">Find out more<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Hansnap<\/h2>\n<p><strong>In a nutshell&#8230;<\/strong> a stick-on camera strap for smartphones, tablets and GoPros.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"547\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/761711319\/hansnap-stabilize-your-footage-never-drop-your-pho\/widget\/video.html\" width=\"730\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It would be remiss of us to not include a few\u00a0smartphone accessories so our second\u00a0this week comes in the form of the Hansnap.\u00a0Although previously unsuccessful, the Hansnap is back with more features and better branding, and has already beaten its funding goals.<\/p>\n<p>Just peel, stick and click the Hansnap to your device so you can easily keep it to hand.
