That advice. Turn your device off and then on again. Oh yes folks, try the good old force restart.

The note on the Apple Support Site simply states:

“Learn what to do if your iPad Pro doesn’t respond when you press buttons or tap on the screen, and the screen is black … To get back to using your iPad Pro, force restart it by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.”

Hopefully though if Apple’s aware of this problem, then they’re already working on a more permanent fix for it. So we won’t have to wait too long until this problem is resolved.

In the meantime however, if we do find a more enduring fix for this problem, that doesn’t require repeatedly having to turn your device off and on again, we’ll update this post accordingly.

iPad Pro problems?
