\"Pebble<\/a>Pebble is the strongest alternative option to the Apple Watch on iOS. There are a wide range of designs available, including the original Pebble<\/a> and Pebble Steel<\/a>; the modern Pebble Time<\/a>,<\/p>\n

Each watch is supported by a\u00a0rich developer community creating watch faces and enabling app support. The biggest advantage of the Pebble is that its e-ink display gives it stellar battery life, often one week or more, making it more similar to a traditional watch than the daily recharge of LCD-based watches.<\/p>\n

Android Wear<\/h3>\n

\"HuaweiAndroid Wear is made by Apple’s chief rival Google, but it’s been compatible with iOS since mid 2015. Notifications and fitness tracking\u00a0are available, although watch faces and apps are less numerous than on Android. Probably the best reason to choose Android Wear is that they offer a wide range of designs and price points, including round-face watches and very cheap options.<\/p>\n

The Huawei Watch<\/a> is one of the coolest watches, with a beautiful round design made of premium materials. Another good option is the Moto 360, which is available in an inexpensive first-gen version or more refined second-gen versions. The\u00a0Alcatel OneTouch<\/a>\u00a0and the Huawei TalkBand<\/a>\u00a0run their own simpler operating systems, which have the advantage of being uniquely engineered to the devices on which they run. This also means that there’s less cross-compatibility with other apps and services. Either way, if you like the look of these kind of devices, they’re still worth looking at.<\/p>\n
