Imagine the HTC One M9, but with a larger 5.2-inch screen, a higher 1440p resolution, and an integrated fingerprint reader. It sounds a little like HTC’s 2016\u00a0flagship, but it’s actually a phone that was released earlier this year: the One M9 Plus. Despite its improvements over the One M9, the Plus hasn’t received much media attention – because it was only announced for the Chinese market.\u00a0Now though, Mobile Fun are bringing the One M9 Plus to the UK<\/a>!<\/p>\n

The One M9 Plus is a powerful smartphone indeed, and feels more like a true flagship phone than the iterative One M9 did. The phone is dominated by a large yet ergonomic 5.2-inch Super LCD 3 display, with great viewing angles and a dense 2560 x 1440 resolution. Below the display, we have an integrated fingerprint reader, capable of rapidly unlocking your phone, and the signature BoomSound speakers that HTC fans love.<\/p>\n

Inside, the phone is also mighty. It’s powered by a MediaTek X10 octa-core processor, running at 2.2GHz for great performance. This is backed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, like the original One M9. Micro SD cards<\/a> are also supported, allowing you to add up to 200GB of storage space quickly and cheaply. Finally, a 2840mAh battery\u00a0keeps things moving.<\/p>\n

All of this fits into an all-metal chassis that weighs just 168 grams and measures just 9.6 millimetres thick.<\/p>\n

The camera system has also been upgraded for the One M9 Plus compared to its predecessor. The Duo camera makes a triumphant return after its absence for the One M9, with a 20-megapixel sensor, sapphire lens cover, auto-focus and 4K video recording. The front camera is also capable, with an Ultrapixel sensor and a wide f\/2.0 aperture.<\/p>\n

The One M9 Plus is a big upgrade over both the HTC One M8 and the regular One M9 – it’s bigger and better where it counts, while maintaining the top notch metal design that has made the One series so respected.<\/p>\n
