Google’s I\/O conference kicks off with an epically long (2.5 hours) keynote this evening. We previewed the event earlier<\/a>, suggesting what we might see – and now we’ll see how right we were with our predictions! If you’d like to watch the event, here’s how you can follow along:<\/p>\n

1. Watch the live stream<\/h3>\n

The nicest way to follow the stream if you have access to a good internet connection is to watch the live video stream at the official Google I\/O website. This is\u00a0events.google.com\/io2015\/<\/a>. The stream begins at 5:30 BST, approximately one hour from the time I write these words, but you can see a live countdown at that link.<\/p>\n

2. Follow a live blog<\/h3>\n

If you’re on your mobile – leaving work, perhaps? – then a better choice can be reading one of the many live blogs that will be produced during the event. I’m quite partial to\u00a0The Verge<\/a><\/em>, but other options exist from CNET<\/a><\/em>, The Next Web<\/a><\/i>,\u00a0Ars Technica<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>and TechCrunch<\/a><\/i>\u00a0– among many more.<\/p>\n

3. Read our wrap-up post afterwards<\/h3>\n
