Both phones take elements from the popular LG G4, but come with lower specifications and a more attractive price point. Let’s take a closer look.

LG G4c

The G4c comes with a smaller screen than the G4, a “compact” five inches. The G4c also comes with an 8-megapixel rear shooter, instead of the 16-megapixel unit used in the G4. Still, there’s a strong 5-megapixel front-facing camera, which should prove excellent for selfies and video calls. The G4c is powered by a Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor at 1.2GHz, backed with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (plus micro SD card support). The display looks good too, with a 720p resolution. The phone will be offered in metallic gray, ceramic white and shiny gold – and there’s no sign of leather backs, as we saw on the LG G4.

LG G4 Stylus

The G4 Stylus, known as the G Stylo in the United States and South Korea, is LG’s second phone. The G4 Stylus is a phablet in the image of the Galaxy Note, with a 5.7-inch 720p display and an integrated stylus. The phone looks higher-end than the G4c, with a 13-megapixel rear camera and the laser-assist autofocus system from the LG G4. Internally, things are the same – a midrange Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable flash storage.

Both phones will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop and LG’s custom software. Prices have not been announced, but given the specifications we’re expecting figures between £200 and £350.

Accessories & more

We’ll be supporting both phones with cases and accessories here at Mobile Fun. The categories are a little threadbare at the time of writing, but we’ll be adding new accessories in the upcoming days and weeks, and we’ll be ready for the launch of the phones later this summer.
