Android<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Just press and hold the volume down<\/strong> button and the lock (power)<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

A flashing animation will be displayed and the resultant screenshot will be stored in your screenshot directory. There’s also a notification that you’ve taken a screenshot that’ll take you straight to it.<\/p>\n

iPhone<\/strong><\/h3>\n

To take a screenshot on the iPhone, press the lock<\/strong> button and home<\/strong> button simultaneously.<\/p>\n

An animation and shutter sound will play, and the screenshot will be in your Photos app.<\/p>\n

Windows Phone 8 and 8.1<\/h3>\n

In Windows Phone 8, press the Windows<\/strong> and Power<\/strong> buttons simultaneously.<\/p>\n

In Windows Phone 8.1, the combination has changed to pressing Power<\/strong> and Volume Up<\/strong> instead.<\/p>\n
